Street Mural All-Day Painting Party!

  • People's Food Co-op 3029 Southeast 21st Avenue Portland, OR, 97202 United States (map)

Join us for our all-day painting party from 10am-4pm or later! Bring your friends and family out to help us paint this giant artwork. We are looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities. We'll have food, drinks, and music! Show up at 9am if you want to yoga in the courtyard.

Bring a water bottle, paint clothes, sunscreen, something to kneel on, and good vibes!

We’ll have coffee from Equal Exchange, pastries to start, lunch thanks to Hoda’s, and popsicles from Ice Queen at the end of the day.

This mural is part of City Repair’s annual Village Building Convergence. This mural project, which we're calling "Celebrate Togetherness: The Food, Flora, and Fauna of People's Market," is a synthesis of so many of the ideas you all shared with us during our recent community mural engagements.

Check out the Village Building Convergence calendar and attend more placemaking events around town!

Please RSVP if you plan to join us! You are welcome to join without an RSVP, its just helpful so we have a sense of how many volunteers to expect.
