In this demo class, see how to make the basic kombucha brew, how to pull your brew when it's finished fermenting, examples of second fermentation, what to do with extra SCOBY's and how to utilize kombucha in other recipes. In this time of abundant seasonal berries, we'll also cover how to incorporate those into your brew!
This class is great for beginners and well-seasoned kombucha tinkerers alike. The instructor will sample a jun culture in addition to various brews of kombucha. You will leave with a half gallon jar and cheesecloth. The instructor will offer several options for procuring your own SCOBY. There will be plenty of time for questions!
$15 for members and $20 for non-members due to the instructor at the time of the class.
