Get Dressed! Salad Dressings for All Tastes

Add to your salad dressing toolbox with this fun afternoon workshop! Spring is the best time of the year for greens, so you may find yourself craving salads, salads, salads. But one can easily tire of store bought or same-old homemade dressings. Instructor Andrew Barton will teach a number of techniques, with an accompanying example dressing, all quite adaptable to your tastes and ideas. Vinaigrettes, creamy dressings, herby dressings, and more! We'll design our own salad dressings, based on what we've learned, and then eat a bunch of salad! Free and open to all. Space limited.

Andrew Barton is a preschool teacher who also works with and writes about food! Secret Restaurant Portland is a supper club he does with his friends, and Myrtlewood: home cooking from the Pacific Northwest is an independently produced cookbook he wrote and designed. He regularly contributed recipes to the People's website.
