Biking in Comfort, Parts I & II

Part I:  Neck, Shoulders, and Upper Back

Tues, May 21, 6-8pm

With Jacqueline Rubinstein, Feldenkrais Practitioner.

This workshop is for bikers of all kinds who feel pain or discomfort in their neck, shoulders, or upper back during or after biking. (The lower part of the body will be explored in the 2nd part of this workshop on 06/04/13.)  Biking is an exciting, fun, and earth-friendly way to get around, but when it hurts it is hard to want to go for a ride. In this workshop, we will use simple & slow movement exercises to increase your awareness of how you use your body and what small changes you can make for big improvements in comfort while biking!  There will also be a discussion of body mechanics and time for q & a.

No one turned away for lack of funds, but a $5-10 donation is welcomed.

Call the co-op to register.
